What do you think?

I'm doing this piece for a class - the theme is Beauty and the Beast. Now, the point I want to get across is that there is a nerdy kid in some sort of eatery/cafeteria who has fallen down and is picking up his food. Behind him, there is a very attractive girl.

Here's the question I need you to answer - should the girl be

1. Scoffing at him

or

2. Sympathizing with him

or

3. Blurred out and not detailed to show any definite emotion

What I want to avoid is being any more cliche than I already am by doing a nerd and a pretty girl. Would it be more cliche to make the nerd the "beast" and have him pitied by the "beauty"? Or would it be worse to have the girl be the "beast" and look down on the nerd who is really the "beauty" inside?

Please feel free to comment here (or my facebook if you have it) and let me know your opinion.

I did a GIF

Yeah, this was a school assignment, and a tedious one to boot. So I'm not the greatest animator in the world, but I'd say for a GIF done completely in Photoshop, it's not that bad.

A guy named Gurgi

Another character from the Prydain Chronicles - his name is Gurgi and he's a little nuisance. Basically, he's a furry, less twisted version of Gollum.
